Walk through the narrow streets and capture the feeling of the old colonial Arabic Architecture which is now a UNESCO Historical Site. We'll take you to see many of the important sights like the former slave market, The Anglican Cathedral, The House of Wonders, The Sultan's Palace and the old Arab Fort. You'll retrace the steps of the past explorers on this tour that also provides a window into modern Stonetown life.

Swimming with dolphins

Swimming with the dolphins in their natural habitat is an experience of a lifetime. The seashore of fishing village Kizimkazi is the home of several pods of humpback and bottleneck dolphins. The boat will take you out onto the clear turquoise blue Indian Ocean where the odds of meeting the dolphins are 90%. After the unique experience of swimming with dolphins you can also do snorkeling for a while before we head back to shore for lunch.

Relax during the Safari Blue Tour

One of the most popular day trips from Paje east coast is the Safari Blue Tour. You will board an African wooden 'dhow' sail boat. There is a high possibility you will see dolphins on the way. En route to the pristine sandbank you can enjoy cold soft drinks and beer, and when you arrive you can snorkel, swim or simply relax in a shaded tent. After a while the boat will set off to another beautiful beach where the guides will set up a seafood BBQ while you can relax and have a swim.

Your guide will explain the use of each spice and a little of their history. The tour will be rounded up with a first-rate meal.

Prison Island: history and nature

Prison Island, also known as the Changuu Island, lies about 30 minutes by boat from Zanzibar. The island was once used by an Arab slave trader to contain the more troublesome slaves he had bought from the African mainland to prevent their escape. In 1893 a prison was built but it ended up being used as a quarantine center instead of a prison. The old prison still remains, providing shelter for some giant tortoises that can only be found on this island. After the tour there is a possibility to go snorkling.
