The hidden Hot Springs


After a scenic drive through the typical African landscape

appear out of nowhere the Kikuletwa Hotsprings. You can take a relaxing swim in the clear water. A lovely place to leave the city and unwind from a busy week. At the hot springs you can enjoy a local picnic.

Meet the Maasai


The Maasai is a nomadic tribe living mainly in Kenya and Tanzania (East Africa). The Maasai are the most famous people of East Africa. They are known for their traditional way of life, language and their beautiful jewelry and clothing. Spread over Tanzania there are many traditional Maasai villages. While visiting a Maasai village (Manyatta) you discover everything about the ancient traditions and rituals of the Maasai.

A hike to the Sapuku waterfalls


The Sapuku waterfalls are on the outskirts of Arusha town. With public transport (dala dala) you will go to the starting point. You will make a two hour hike through the forest where you can enjoy the beautiful view of the city and the mountain Mount Meru. It's a little bit of a tough hike, but it's doable. At the waterfalls you go for lunch and it's possible to go for a swim. After lunch you will walk back to the starting point.

Lake Duluti & Tengeru market


Lake Duluti is a crater lake, about 20 minutes drive from Arusha. The lake is surrounded by a dense forest and it's home to about 130 bird species. During the walk around the lake (about 1.5 hours) there is big chance you will see monkeys and large lizards. After the walk you can enjoy the beautiful view of the lake from the terrace. After lunch you go to the local market in Tengeru where you can cast your eyes on dozens of stalls that sell local food, clothes, etc.
